Here is another beautiful Indian wedding of Priya & Linil my brother Sahil and I got the opportunity to capture last year in Palo Alto, California. This was a Christian Indian Wedding that took place at the beautiful First United Methodist Church of Palo Alto. Here are some words from Linil on how they met and their journey up to the wedding day:
Priya & I had met through a matrimonial set up by both our parents. We did not know what to expect when we initially talked, but as time went on we became very close. I would eventually meet her in Fort Worth, TX where she had resided at the time; while I lived in San Jose, CA. When we finally met in person, there was an undeniable chemistry. From that day on, myself and Priya would make frequent trips to see each other.
In May of 2011, during one of Priya’s visits to California, I went down on one knee and proposed at a beautiful country club.
Priya would eventually move to California 3 months before our wedding and that is when the craziness began. In addition to Priya trying to get situated in California, we both had to make a trip out to India with our families for the official engagement ceremony in August of 2011. Priya’s extended family members and my grandparents especially got to attend the festivities. Once we got back to California, it was time for planning the wedding. With the help of our family and friends, we were able to bring everything together. The vendors that we had selected were easy to work with and ended up doing a magnificent job. Thank you to all who attended!
